Support Wartburg

Wartburg was built on the foundation of three key values that hold true to this day. We believe that in order to effectively serve our residents and the community, we are to honor the mind, body, and spirit in all we do. Today, this translates to honoring the mind through workforce development, the body through campus preservation and the spirit through arts and culture.

Workforce Development - Providing the best care requires qualified and trained caregivers. There has been a significant decline in the number of qualified nursing and specialized health technicians. Wartburg is pursuing academic partnerships to support building a pipeline of skilled, highly qualified nurses and other frontline staff.

Arts and Culture - The Council for Creative Aging and Lifelong Learning recently celebrated 10 years of service both on our campus and nationally. Having been on hiatus due to COVID, Wartburg is excited to revive its Arts and Culture program through new collaborations with Sarah Lawrence College, Arts Westchester and the Pelham Art Center in order to make every day even more special for our residents.

Campus Preservation and Development - See how we’re preserving our campus and its legacy as we construct the new Berkemeier Living Center and work towards more affordable housing for independent seniors.

Wartburg is a 501(c)(3) organization. Gifts to Wartburg are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Our two signature annual events, the Jazz in June Gala and the Fall Festival, have engaged our neighbors, residents, community partners and dedicated staff, while our Speaker Series has covered relevant topics like eldercare, healthy living, and Alzheimer’s disease, providing educational seminars for our network of families and friends. Wartburg is committed to our role in the community, not only as a provider of senior services but as a resource and authority on successful aging.

Your gift to Wartburg will make a world of difference, enabling us to continue providing those who are entrusted to our care with a host of valuable services, as well as the dignity, compassion and respect they truly deserve. Your support will be used to provide for the many needs of our residents.
