Bariatric Care Program
at Wartburg Lutheran Home for the Aging
Wartburg provides a Bariatric Program for the
management of the severely obese. Our goal is to provide expert,
compassionate care to help residents attain greater independence
and improve their quality of life.
Our comprehensive program includes:
Physical and Occupational Therapies
Nutritional counseling, one-to-one counseling,
and group therapy
Leisure program focusing on stress management
Psychotherapy
Rooms furnished with wider width electric beds
and specialized equipment to provide a safe and comfortable environment
